The official central parity rate is released at 9:15 Beijing time on each working day, authorized by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System and the People’s Bank of China.
No new rate will be released on weekends and statutory holidays; the central parity rate of the latest working day shall be adopted accordingly.
Calculation rule:
Cash buying rate = Central parity rate − 0.0200
Cash selling rate = Central parity rate + 0.0200
Minor premium/discount adjustments may apply among individual commercial banks.
